Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and executing successful campaigns to acquire new distributors in the region.
  • Self-managed and ongoing planning of targeted activities for selected end users/distributors in the area.
  • Reporting planned and completed sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Attending trade fairs and industry events.
  • Following up on sales campaigns launched by Mascot International A/S.
  • Maintaining close communication with team members during key account acquisition phases.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Manager / Sales Representative in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in the workwear / PPE industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver solid, quantifiable results from previous roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills, a persuasive personality, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and distributors.
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to manage a professional home-office setup.

Personal Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be self-driven, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to go the extra mile when needed. You will operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and must be capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
You should be reliable and experienced in working with a structured CRM system to identify and follow up on clients in your territory. We prefer candidates with a stable employment history.

  • The candidate should ideally live along the Vigo – Santiago – A Coruña axis.
  • Must be a native Spanish speaker and be able to communicate and negotiate in English.
  • Must be willing to set up a home office and travel frequently.

  • Making outbound phone calls and communicating with active/inactive/prospective customers to sell products and advise customers of promotions and new products. Utilize selling strategies to grow existing customers and gain new or lost customers. A target account list will be provided.
  • Provide Quotes and submit orders.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and respond to any issues.

We are seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative in our Santiago, Chile location. In this role, you will be responsible for growing sales and promoting the Garmin Chile brand through building relationships with assigned accounts by outbound sales calls, order processing and customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Establish, develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key business partners and retailers
  • Partner with sales leaders in the development and execution of strategies designed to increase market share and profit with existing accounts
  • Negotiate and execute sales agreements
  • Analyze, assess and develop suggestions to leadership to set or adjust margin pricing
  • Maintain and leverage a high level of product knowledge across all assigned product markets to create sales strategies attractive to potential dealers
  • Recommend additional products and merchandise to retailers to expand the Garmin Chile brand presence
  • Educate and inform retailers of new products, training resources, and sales promotions to drive sales growth
  • Use both the Dealer Resource Center and Oracle tools to log activities and drive efficiencies both internally and with retail partners
  • Answer and handle customer phone calls and emails to ensure customer requests are processed both timely and accurately
  • Accurately enter orders into Oracle, verifying that customer purchase orders match Oracle orders and communicate any variances to customer
  • Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, inventory availability, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed; recommend replacement products or additional items as necessary
  • Process and follow up with customer requests, inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
  • Communicate internally with Order Analysts, Production, Finance, Sales, Shipping, Warehouse and any other personnel needed to assist in the processing of the customer orders and inquiries
  • Follow up on miss-shipped orders and damaged orders and complete shipping discrepancy form
  • Issue Return Material Authorizations and credit memo’s when applicable

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals, targets and other performance metrics

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Garmin experience
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with marketplace
  • Possess a demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Garmin’s product line
  • Full knowledgeable in all aspects of order entry system with a thorough understanding of Oracle management
  • Sales experience in a business-to-business environment
