**About the Role**
We are looking for a skilled IT professional to join our Regional Data Production Hub as a Database Consultant. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines technical expertise with business acumen. You will be responsible for delivering training, gathering, and analyzing client requirements, and translating business needs into robust technical solutions.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support and develop pharmaceutical data products with a strong emphasis on Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics. The role involves managing large volumes of data from diverse sources, consolidated into relational and multidimensional databases.
**Key Responsibilities**
· Act as a technical liaison for clients, translating business requirements into BI and data solutions.
· Deliver training sessions and provide ongoing technical support for IQVIA's products and services.
· Design, develop, and maintain solutions using SQL Server and BI tools.
· Perform multidimensional data modeling (OLAP) and manage data integration processes.
· Address data changes and implement production fixes as needed.
· Collaborate closely with internal teams including the Information Team, Commercial Team, and Regional Production Hub
**Technical Requirements**
· SQL Server (2008 or later) - Advanced proficiency
· Microsoft Excel - Advanced level
· Visual Basic (VB) - Advanced level
· SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) - Experience in multidimensional modeling
· SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) - Data integration experience
· Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, or MicroStrategy - Nice to have
· English - Upper-intermediate or higher preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile
· Minimum 2 years of experience in technical or data-related roles.
· Strong background in SQL development and database management.
· Previous experience in pharmaceutical or retail industries is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in client-facing environments.
· Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and task prioritization skills.
