Serás responsable de la estrategia global de Inteligencia Artificial de ARAUCO, asegurando su total alineación con los objetivos estratégicos y las necesidades de nuestros diversos negocios. Tu misión será detectar oportunidades de creación de valor con IA, garantizando que estas iniciativas sean de alto impacto, escalables y transformadoras para la compañía, y que la captura de valor sea concreta y medible.
Este rol clave establecerá una gobernanza transversal para la identificación sistemática, priorización y diseño de iniciativas de IA de alto impacto. Actuarás como el principal conector entre los distintos stakeholders, impulsando la generación de valor medible y una adopción de IA escalable, eficiente y ágil a nivel global. Principales Funciones:
- Articular y coordinar la visión estratégica de IA en toda la compañía, asegurando su alineación con los objetivos de cada negocio. Esto implica colaborar estrechamente con las áreas y Vicepresidencias para proponer, establecer y actualizar una hoja de ruta de IA, que resuelvan necesidades concretas de la compañía.
- Traducir los desafíos del negocio en oportunidades con impacto directo en EBITDA y/o rentabilidad. Para ello, realizarás un monitoreo continuo del avance, despliegue y adopción de los proyectos de IA, asegurando que su impacto se concrete conforme a lo planificado.
- Desarrollar business cases sólidos y valorizar proyectos de IA tanto ex-ante como ex-post. Esto implica alinear a todos los stakeholders en torno a los mecanismos de medición de creación de valor de las iniciativas de IA (KPIs, NPV, EBITDA, Rentabilidad, etc.).
- Identificar y proponer proactivamente casos de uso potenciales y co-crear soluciones basadas en IA que resuelvan problemas reales y generen valor.
- Deberás monitorear de forma continua las tendencias del mercado, las innovaciones tecnológicas y el panorama competitivo para asegurar una constante adaptación y evolución de nuestra estrategia de IA.
- Diseñar y ejecutar la Gobernanza Corporativa AI en conjunto con las otras áreas de la gerencia y áreas de negocio.
- Actuar como puente entre el negocio y los equipos técnicos.
Requisitos:
- Formación en Ingeniería Civil Industrial, Ingeniería Comercial o afines, y contar con MBA.
- Alto nivel de conocimiento en temas de AI y AA (distintas técnicas, ciclo de desarrollo de proyectos, tecnologías existentes, etc).
- Experiencia mínima de 8 años de experiencia en roles afines, en consultoras o empresas del rubro de Tecnología y/o Procesos Industriales Complejos.
- Dominio de herramientas de análisis estratégico-financiero para evaluar el impacto y priorizar iniciativas (evaluación de proyectos, NPV, ROI, EBITDA incremental).
- Dominio de las tecnologías de IA, abarcando su potencial, limitaciones y las últimas tendencias.
- Flexibilidad para viajar a las diversas operaciones de ARAUCO a nivel mundial.

BackgroundIn Northeast Nigeria, across the states of Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe (BAY), child protection and child rights violations continued to be reported. The Child Protection Area of Responsibility (CP AoR), co-led by UNICEF, requires robust information management systems to ensure effective coordination across partners, accurate analysis of child protection needs, monitoring of response coverage and identification of gaps. To strengthen information flow, UNICEF seeks the services of a consultant to strengthen information management systems and products by developing datasets, dashboards, maps, and analytical briefs that enhance programming, coordination and advocacy.
How can you make a difference?Purpose of Activity/Assignment: The purpose of this consultancy is to support the UNICEF Child Protection Section in strengthening Information Management (IM) systems and products. The consultant will focus on the development of IM deliverables including datasets, dashboards, maps, and analytical briefs that enhance evidence-based programming, coordination and advocacy.
Scope of Work- Mapping and adaptation of IM tools: review, adapt and update existing information management tools for CP AoR, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Produce outputs such as datasets, partner presence maps, dashboards and infographics.
- Training and capacity building: provide technical support in the development of tools for administrative routine data collection, analysis and reporting. Design and deliver at least five training and coaching sessions for sector partners on IM tools and protocols including data protection and confidentiality standards. Provide user-friendly training materials to support sustained capacity.
- Production of IM products: update datasets, maps and infographics to support effective information programming, coordination and advocacy.
- Programme analysis: analyze UNICEF's CP response including coverage and contingency planning. Develop analytical briefings with visualized datasets and infographics.
- Gaps and needs analysis: undertake a comprehensive analysis of gaps and needs in child protection, disaggregated by age, sex and vulnerability, and produce a detailed analysis report with updated IM products.
- Final report: submit a final consultancy report summarizing activities, methodologies, challenges, lessons learned and recommendations for strengthening child protection information management.

QualificationsMinimum requirements:
- Advanced degree in Information Management, data science, statistics, social sciences or related fields is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in information management in humanitarian or development settings.
- Proven track record in developing and managing 5Ws, dashboards, mapping, CPIMS+ system.
- Strong knowledge of child protection coordination mechanisms and sectoral information needs.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting and visualization.
- Proven ability to deliver training and capacity building of partners and stakeholders.
- Candidates with relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree will be considered.
