Como Database Administration Specialist tus responsabilidades serán:
- Mantener los motores e instancias de base de datos, de ser requerido instalar y configurar a clientes nuevos, siguiendo los procedimientos definidos con el propósito de asegurar la operatividad del mismo. Crear y mantener la estructura de base de datos, realizando una revisión periódica de las mismas con la finalidad de tomar las medidas correctivas para su correcta operatividad.
- Automatizar el proceso de mantención de base de datos (respaldos, estadísticas, etc.), a fin de minimizar los posibles errores y facilitar el trabajo.
- Realizar habilitación y mejora continua al en monitoreo de base de datos.
- Colaborar con las áreas de desarrollo y arquitectura en las definiciones de los modelos lógicos y físicos de la base de datos, así como en los procesos de pasos a producción, a fin de disminuir problemas en producción.
- Elaborar planes de DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan), para asegurar la continuidad de los ambientes de bases de datos.
- Custodiar la información de nuestros clientes y tomar las consideraciones de seguridad de la información asociada a su nivel de acceso a la misma, manteniendo la estricta reserva de la información de los sistemas en producción, acorde a los procedimientos establecidos para la entrega del Data de Producción y las políticas de la casa matriz.
- Reportar cualquier indicio de fuga o pérdida de la información a su jefatura directa y al oficial de seguridad a fin de que se realicen las gestiones necesarias
Además, puedes marcar la diferencia si cumples con:
- Manejo de Inglés técnico (para lectura de manuales, manejo de eventos y programas, etc.) escrito a nivel intermedio/avanzado
- Disponibilidad de turnos de trabajos stand by.
- Experiencia de 5 años en posiciones similar
- Conocimientos de al menos 5 años en base datos (Oracle)
- Conocimientos de al menos 3 años en base datos (Postgres y MSSQL Server)
- Conocimiento plataformas Linux nivel alto
- Conocimiento de BD ORACLE nivel alto

¿Qué perfil debes tener para postular?
Título profesional de Ingeniería en Informática, Técnico en Programación o carrera afín.
Experiencia comprobada en desarrollo con Oracle Forms y PL/SQL.
Inglés técnico deseable.
Deseable participación en proyectos de modernización de sistemas legacy.
Conocimientos Específicos en:
• Oracle Forms 10g/11g o versiones superiores.
• PL/SQL avanzado: procedimientos, funciones, triggers, paquetes.
• Diseño y tuning de bases de datos Oracle.
• Manejo de herramientas de control de versiones.
¿Qué funciones desempeñarás en este cargo?
1) Desarrollo en Oracle Forms
• Diseñar y construir formularios interactivos utilizando Oracle Forms (versiones 10g, 11g o superiores).
• Mantener y optimizar formularios existentes para mejorar su usabilidad y desempeño.
2) Programación en PL/SQL
• Desarrollar procedimientos almacenados, funciones, paquetes y triggers complejos en PL/SQL.
• Asegurar la eficiencia del código mediante técnicas de optimización y buenas prácticas.
3) Gestión de bases de datos Oracle
• Analizar y diseñar estructuras de bases de datos.
• Implementar mejoras en el rendimiento mediante tuning de consultas, índices y estructuras.
• Colaborar en la normalización de datos y control de integridad.
4) Levantamiento de requerimientos y validación funcional
• Interactuar con usuarios funcionales para comprender necesidades y objetivos de negocio.
• Documentar requerimientos técnicos y funcionales para su correcta implementación.
• Validar entregables en conjunto con los usuarios.
5) Participación en modernización de sistemas (deseable)
• Colaborar en proyectos de migración desde sistemas legacy hacia nuevas tecnologías.
• Evaluar el impacto de la modernización en los procesos y estructuras existentes.
• Apoyar en pruebas cruzadas y validaciones funcionales post-migración.
6) Documentación técnica y control de versiones
• Registrar el diseño y desarrollo de componentes técnicos.
• Mantener documentación clara y actualizada para soporte y futuras modificaciones.
• Utilizar herramientas de versionamiento (ej. Git) para control y trazabilidad del código.
7) Soporte técnico y colaboración con equipos internos
• Atender requerimientos técnicos críticos con prontitud y autonomía.
• Coordinar con otros equipos de desarrollo, soporte y QA para asegurar la calidad del producto final.
• Brindar soporte de segundo nivel cuando sea necesario.

We are seeking a talented Technical Consultant to join our Banking Consulting team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering next-generation Oracle Banking products, leveraging the latest technologies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help us design, implement, and support solutions that meet the evolving needs of our financial services clients.
**Responsibilities**
As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices with limited autonomy. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design customized solutions for clients.
+ Develop, test, and implement software programs using Java, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database.
+ Provide technical expertise and support for software deployment, migration, and integrations.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging best practices in banking and financial services.
**_Mandatory Requirements:_**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
+ 1+ years of experience in software development, implementation, and support activities.
+ Strong programming skills in PL/SQL and Java technologies.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
